August Gardening Guide: Essential Tasks to Thrive in Late Summer
August is an important month for gardens. Summer is winding down, and fall is just around the corner. The dog days of summer are upon us, but there is still plenty that can be done to keep gardens looking their best. Some of the essential jobs include deadheading flowers, dividing perennials, harvesting vegetables, planting fall crops, watering efficiently, and controlling pests.
