A dwarf rounded deciduous shrub, Hydrangea macrophylla 'Pia' features pink to purple- red mophead flowers in the mid-summer. Unlike other bigleaf hydrangeas, the flowers are pink regardless of ph soils. Dark green foliage provides a nice contrast to the flowers.
